Eligibility for Admission:

Eligibility for admission is based on age according to the child’s birth age.

1)Nursery: Toddlers born on or before 31-8-2021 (aged 2 years old or above)

2)K1: Children born on or before 31-12-2020 (aged 2 years and 8 months or above)

3)If you are interested in enrolling your child for any of the four grades during the school year, please download the application form from the school website or collected in person from the school office. Submit the completed form in person or mail it to the school. School will only contact you the interview arrangement once there is a place available.

1. Completed the application form.
2. 1 passport-size photos of the child and stick it on the application form.
3. A copy of the child’s birth certificate.
4. A copy of immunization record.
5. 3 self-addressed stamped envelopes. (With sender’s address and child’s name on the cover)
6. The application fee of forty dollars.
7. Please submit the above information to the school office in person or by post. If sent by post, please submit the application fee with a cross cheque payable to “Hong Kong Bethel Church Gideon Kindergarten”.
8.All the information given must be complete and correct. If any information is found to be untrue or incomplete, the application will not be accepted.

Interview Arrangement:

Once the application form has been received, we will notify the details of the interview by post.

• Interview Scheduled Date: 2023-2024 interviews will be conducted on 5 November 2021 (Saturday).
• Interview will be conduct in group and / or individual.
• Only one parents or guardian can accompany the child for the interview and the interview will be conduct in the forms of game and parent’s conversation.
• Admission Criteria:
  1. Interview performance.
  2. Application with siblings currently studying in our kindergarten will be given priority consideration.
  3. Application for whole-day or from families need will be given priority consideration.
   
• *As there are limited number of school places, please notice that not all applicants fulfilling the priority consideration will be guaranteed a school place. The interview performance is the first criteria for consideration.
   

Admission Result:

Admission result would be informed by post within three weeks after the interview.

- Thursday to Friday 9:00am to 4:00pm
- Saturday 9:00am to 11:00 am

• Attention：

1. Please enroll to confirm the school place on The Centralised Registration Dates at the School Office from 5th to 7th January 2023(Thursday to Saturday) with a non-refundable registration fee of $1,570 for whole day session and $970 for half day session, this would be deducted from the September 2023 tuition fee. A late enrolment will not be accepted, and the school place will be taken by other children on the waiting list.

2. Please submit the ‘2023/24 Registration Certificate’ / ‘Kindergarten Admission Pass” for K1 students prior to the enrolment. If you decided to withdraw from the enrolment, you may collect the registration certificate from the school office.

3. Please be reminded that if parents cannot submit the “Registration Certificate’”/ Kindergarten Admission Pass” during registration, the Kindergarten may not be able to complete registration for the child. Hence, parents are required to submit application for the registration document to EDB within the specified period.
